The thoenes ® silicone flat sealing material is available in two different versions – red and transparent. The red version differs from the transparent one in terms of higher temperature resistance due to a certain proportion of iron oxide. There are also differences in the mechanical properties, which can be found in the data sheets. Both silicones are available in FDA-grade quality on request.

Areas of application :
The thoenes ® silicone flat sealing material is versatile and is used, amongst other things, in housing seals, flange seals and connector seals. In FDA-grade quality, it is suitable for use in the food industry.
