Maintenance manager (m/f/d)

Areas of responsibility:

  • Planning and monitoring of all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective measures.
  • Ensuring the availability of production systems and machines and minimizing downtimes
  • Budget responsibility for maintenance activities and cost control
  • Management and development of the maintenance team
  • Implementation of effective maintenance strategies and processes
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety guidelines and procedures

Your profile:

  • Completed technical training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar discipline is an advantage
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in maintenance, preferably in a managerial position
  • Experience in the implementation of predictive maintenance (e.g. condition monitoring, IoT) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of common maintenance software and ERP systems
  • Willingness to occasionally take part in emergency operations and extraordinary maintenance work outside regular working hours
  • Team leadership: experience in leading and developing maintenance teams, including workflow planning, resource allocation and performance management
  • Project management: ability to manage maintenance projects, including scheduling, cost control and resource management
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with different departments, employees and external service providers.
  • Maintenance management: Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance management, including the planning, organization and implementation of maintenance and repair work
  • Technical understanding: Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and other relevant technical fields.
  • Budget management: Experience in creating and managing budgets for maintenance activities.
