#How did you go from industrial mechanic to product manager?

Basically, I was in the right place at the right time. After my training, our customer service concept was changed. We moved from a permanent sales representative to an application engineer who was to be integrated into the team. The first step was to look for an internal appointment. My experience in all areas of production came in handy here. In the sales department, I advised customers and supported my colleagues. Here I got to know the commercial side as well as the technical side. In order to develop myself further, I was given the opportunity to attend further training to become a technical business administrator. When the opportunity arose to take on further responsibility, I was in the ideal position to fill the position of product manager with my technical and commercial knowledge. Thanks to the opportunities and openness offered by thoenes, I can provide our customers and our team with optimal support in many areas.
