Product information "thoenes ® P653 – Carbon fibre packing"
The thoenes ® P653 – carbon fibre packing is a packing made from continuous carbon filament fibres with PTFE and graphite impregnation.
Key properties :
- Wear-resistant, suitable for harsh operating conditions,
- Gentle on shafts,
- Low shrinkage,
- Good flexibility and thermal conductivity due to high carbon content,
- Dimensionally stable,
- Universal chemical resistance,
- Resistant to strongly oxidising media such as oleum, fuming nitric acid, gaseous fluorine and molten alkali metals.
Application types :
- Centrifugal and piston pumps, mixers, kneaders, valves, autoclaves, paper mills, fittings, gate valves, butterfly valves, refiners, boiler feed pumps.
Supply forms :
- square, without preparation, rectangular (on request)
- Dimensions: 5–25 mm edge length (other dimensions on request).
