The thoenes ® P620 – PTFE multifilament fibre packing is a packing made from sintered, highly stretched PTFE multifilament fibres (edge reinforcement) and graphite-filled PTFE multifilament fibres (running surface).
Key properties :
- Excellent sliding properties,
- Gentle on shafts,
- No gap extraction,
- Universally chemically resistant (to acids, alkalis and crystallised media),
- Not resistant to strongly oxidising media such as oleum, fuming nitric acid, etc.,
- Max. continuous operating temperature 250 °C,
- Short-term exposure to 280 °C possible.
Applications :
Use in centrifugal and piston pumps, autoclaves, paddle dryers, filters and more.
