The thoenes ® P610 – PTFE yarn packing (oiled) is a packing made from sintered, highly stretched PTFE multifilament yarn with intensive PTFE impregnation and a silicone-free lubricant additive.
Key properties :
- Good pressure resistance,
- Low coefficient of friction,
- High cross-sectional density and structural strength,
- Extremely resistant to bases, alcohols, ketones, petrol and oils,
- Not resistant to very strong reducing agents such as solutions of alkali metals,
- Non-flammable.
PTFE multifilament
- Max. continuous operating temperature 250 °C,
- Short-term 280 °C.
Fields of application :
- Universal application in centrifugal pumps, control valves and special designs in the food industry, chemical industry and pharmaceuticals.
Supply forms :
- Square or rectangular pack,
