The thoenes ® P605 – blended yarn packing is a packing made from special blended yarn, impregnated with a PTFE-graphite-paraffin oil preparation.
Key properties :
- Good adaptability,
- High media resistance,
- Resistant to water, steam, organic solvents, oils, tar, gases and inorganic acids.
Blended yarn :
- Max. continuous operating temperature 350 °C,
- Short-term exposure to 400 °C possible.
PTFE impregnation :
- Max. continuous operating temperature 250 °C,
- Short-term exposure to 280 °C possible.
Fields of application :
- For universal sealing in centrifugal and piston pumps, mixers, agitators and valves in industry as well as in water and sewage treatment plants.
Supply forms :
- Rectangular or square packing,
- Dimensions 4–25 mm (other dimensions on request),
- With PTFE-graphite-paraffin oil impregnation.
