The thoenes ® G122 – glass fibre packing is a packing made from twisted, textured E-glass. The texturing ensures a large storage volume and thus good insulation properties.
Key properties :
- Very high mechanical strength,
- Temperature resistance up to 550 °C (continuous operating temperature, 650 °C for short periods)
- Harmless to health,
- Resistance to oils, greases and low-concentration acids and alkalis (not resistant to hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids).
Areas of application :
- Static applications (e.g. in oven, boiler and chimney doors, inspection hatches, wrapping of exhaust systems and for sealing heat exchangers).
Forms of supply :
- Square (dimensions: 4–50 mm*) or round cross-section (dimensions 3–50 mm*),
