Last week, Peter and Martin attended the kick-off meeting for the new project “Prestressed concrete structures made from
composite-optimised carbon strands (OptiCarboLiz)” at TU Berlin.
In collaboration with Ginkgo Projektentwicklung GmbH, @itm_tud and the Department of Design and Construction at @tu_berlin, we are working on the development of slender and resource-efficient concrete structures.
Our aim is to find innovative solutions for sustainable construction within the framework of the BMWK’s TTP Lightweight Construction programme. Our focus is on technological development and structural adaptations to a strand manufacturing process in order to maximise resource and energy efficiency. ♻️⚡
