thoenes® steam boiler seals type 2 consist of expanded graphite (purity at least 98%) with stainless steel insert (thoenes SL TRD 401) or perforated stainless steel insert - (thoenes SP TRD 401).
Important features:
- Certified for use with increased sealing gap of 4.5 mm.
Application forms:
- For closures on steam boilers with roughness values of ring and cover between 6.3 and 12.5 μm.
- Preferably for new plants,
